Well what a night ! As many of you know we are now living quite remote and Neil is offshore at the moment so drove home alone from SBCC to Hegdog Towers and arrived safe and sound but pitch dark, no streetlights for miles and miles. Outside lights on, inside lights on, dogs unpacked and toiletted, doors locked, fire lit. BIG windows with curtains that are a beggar to close so find that having a lamp or two on is better than not being able to see out with glare works for me. Went to bed very tired and tried to sleep but no......imagination working overtime. Well I must have dropped off the spar eventually but woke at 3.30 to hear LOUD voices !!!!! Cut a long story short had rolled over onto the bedroom telly remote and ( according to Neil ) the magic eye from bedroom to lounge had activated the lounge telly (dont ask the technicalities are beyond me ) but suffice to say I was convinced we had a poltergeist and I had to go down hall and downstairs and put the TV off. I was scared out my head. Settled down, heart pounding and again drifted off to be woken at sparrow fart with the gardeners outside. It is like Sauchiehall Street here this morning, but at least no sheep or velociraptor birds. Ah the peace and quiet and calmness of the countryside....NOT !
