Well what a shit morning I have had. Firstly up early to finish & tidy up after breakfast as the landlord has put the place on the market and there was an opening at 10. Thought I better give the unit the once over - bloody broom handle broke! Then had to walk down to the main drag cause havnt picked up mail for ages and needed a few essentials - milk, bread, toilet rolls etc. In Post Office bought some laminating sleeves and a couple of other things - all of a sudden I had a bloody seniors moment - could not remember my pin number - tried 3 times then the bloody thing locked down. Had enough cash tpo pay except one dollar 80 short - on the tab. Walked across the road and nearly got hick by a stupid car. Tried ATM - no bloody hope. Tried to ring daughter and she was not close to the phone. Well the wonderful IGA owner told me to get what I wanted and pay next time. I did not even have enough cassh left to buy a coffee to go at the bakery. Well I started the climb up the bloody hill which I swear has got steeper. Could not use seat on Max for a rest as my shopping was all tied on. I will have asit down on the RSL brick fence thinks I. When I got there the bloody fence was gone as they were doing the place up. Continued the uphill trek and then in the background I could hear Puffing Billy chugging along. In time with hois chugs I imagined that I was Thomas the bloody Tank Engin and said to my self - Yes you can, yes you can. At the next stop I just happened to be next to a beutiful Lavender bush. I combined the stop with a collection of some small branches that were over the fence. It needs prunimng off the footpath Finally I made it. The Lavended is in the bathroom as the blue matches the tile strips - it looks and smells great. I have planted the stems hoping they will strike. I think I need to go to the Council and request they put one of those signs up on top of the hill where I cross as suddenly a car appears. They have signs with Kid, Wombats, Horses etc. to warn the drivers that some critter may be crossing the road so I want one with an image of a little old lady with a walker!
