Well, what an eventful evening! I mixed up thin set to work with for the catch basin for the fountain that is my profile photo. Thin set dries quickly if its not stirred often, so I had to work with it while it was still wet and useable, which meant I HAD to finish the basin! Well, 3 hours in and I was very, very tired. Thats when I make mistakes and hurt myself. Somehow, when looking for a piece of tile Id dropped on the floor, my chair--a big desk chair--upended, broke one of my shelves holding flat-backed marbles, broke off the caster and landed me on the floor among many, many purple marbles. Sigh! I didnt stop though! I stood up and put those last 5 pieces on that damned basin!!! I even make a couple of garden cookies with the left over thin set! Now, when the basin is dry and cleaned, it will be ready for grout and installation outside. As for my chair, the shelves and the marbles. Ill deal with it tomorrow!
