Well....what can you do with a girl who is still tied to her hospital bed, barely able to move? We talked about getting out to celebrate our 38th anniversary with at least a fancy meal, but the logistics were too worrisome for Capri. Getting dressed in real clothes, shoes, getting into and out of a wheelchair, ditto a transport bus, and, of course, what about the usual bodily secretions into a brief while seated at a fancy restaurant table? Infants do it all the time, right? No way! Just too much to think about. So...a rain check for a sunnier day in the near future for a proper celebration where the only brief will be my thoughts about a big tip for the waitress. In the meantime, Capris favorite restaurant, El Agave, (chili relleno) brought in to her room for dinner, a couple dozen roses, 3 or 4 pounds of Sees Chocolates, and a balloon bouquet to close out this special day with the woman I adore, Capri Jensen- Barlow. I still love you, Squash Blossom!
