Well with the hours I have put in cooking for the Great Unwashed decided to treat myself and have someone cook a meal for me. Not the best of places but went to the Toby Carvery by the M40 in Banbury against the advice of Sophie and Ashley my children. I cannot describe what I was supposed to have eaten, but never knew you could produce a complete roast (I had beef), which was totally tasteless and that included the so called vegetables. Being a snob, I was actually put off with some of the diners who obviously have only just been introduce to table cutlery. I was never aware that you could shovel food like it was going out of fashion so fast, shove whole roast potatoes in your mouth and still be able to chew it, have a plate of food piled so high that for me it would take a complete week to eat. Bloody hell what happened to table manners, or am I in a Time Warp ? Only wanted a simple tasty roast dinner, just wanted a day off from cooking, and someone to cook for me, one day, maybe one day !!!
