Well... wonderful news... Tom wasnt feeling well and then started a fever that didnt go away... took him to Family Dr. today, we were ushered directly to a exam room on the side of the building where no patients were being seen, he was tested for Strep and Influenza. Its his lucky day... he has THE INFLUENZA! He is highly infectuous and is on house isolation until Monday. We are both on Tama Flu... I am not infectuous so I can be out and about... So... please do not come to our house this weekend as you will not be allowed inside.... This is our family Drs first INFLUENZA this year, but the 3rd one diagnosed in the clinic this week. Upon our leaving, staff was literally sanitizing his path.... guess what Ill be doing Monday.... Yes, we both had the flue shot....
