Well, would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who made it to the Citrus Club yesterday ( Sunday 3nd November ), if you didnt go shame on you because you missed 3 excellent bands giving their all. First on was Sea Bass Kid with their own fresh twist ska sound, l first heard about this group from my friends Jamie & Shooey and l wasnt let down by this band which l predict will go on to bigger and better things IN THE FUTURE, and are a local band from einburgh Hopefully l can get them in the studio for a interview soon. Next up was a band l have seen a couple of times now and have always impressed me, they are of course ESPERANZA who are starting to get themselves a big following wherever they go now and are making headlines on the club circuit now after all the hard graft they have put in over the last year or so and are really worth going to see. Then to finish it of was the regulars of the edinburgh ska scene and you always get your moneys worth from Big Andy, Deeks and the rest of the boys from Big Fat Panda who are just totally fun to be with and always up for a laugh with the crowd, the suprise was of the night is when they done their cover version of a song by The Stone Roses - Sally cinnamon from 1987 which went down a treat with the audience, good on you guys. The intervals were filled in by DJ Miggy, who played some cracking tunes. All in all a great night had by all, cheers
