Well, yesterday, after nearly being stung by a yellow jacket wasp, - TopicsExpress

Well, yesterday, after nearly being stung by a yellow jacket wasp, I traced it back to the nest. Disturbingly only 20 feet from the side of the house in the ground. After the shot across the bow that they fired, I declared war. Since I had no gasoline in my can, and apparently our can of wasp spray has gone MIA, I proceeded to raid my shop for highly flammable cans of brake cleaner. After burning a path through all the evil flying bastards to their hole, I put a water hose into the entrance and turned it on . I began to realize that i may be under armed when after 10 minutes of running, NO water was coming back out of the hole, meaning this thing was VERY LARGE. So, today, I looked at it, and even after trying to drown them for half the afternoon, they were out enforce again today. So,I looked around and drained a half a gallon of gas from our lawn mower, again burned a path through the front lines, and dumped that half gallon of gas into the hole. After letting it soaked in for a few minutes, I tossed a burning rag to it,a d boom. Then, I proceeded to pile wood and rake leaves onto the flame. I figure if tomorrow, I see them coming out of my own version of Hell i created for them, Ill persue the nuclear option. Just so you know, I did not go through this battle unscathed. At least 4 separate stings. Probably more, since one of them got me on the back of the,arm and was unopposed for several seconds and that sting REALLY FRIGGEN HURTS lol.
