Well yesterday was a HUGE day at Waite Reserve .. 20 games ... First kick off at 9am and last game finishing around 9pm! What an amazing club to be a part of... So much positivity all day, smiling faces, plenty of helpers .. The usual suspects there from 6am to 9pm, new volunteers helping out all day long and all the kids out picking up rubbish, the Prez in cooking chips --- shows how much pride we all have on the blue and black. Looking over at 8pm at night seeing at least twenty kids playing a game of footy next to the A grade game reminded me that footy isnt just the game its a community. It was great seeing our life members and lots of old faces (not looking old just been at the club a long time) at A Grade last night. I will be doing a draw tonight of all the volunteers yesterday as I have 3 outback jacks dinner vouchers to give away so thanks to those that wrote their names down on the BBQ and canteen. Everyone deserves a big pat on the back for making QHJRLC the proud, fierce and amazing club that it is - well done Destroyers! Now lets hear how you all went yesterday!!
