Well yesterday was the start of Peak Season for Khol warehouse in Monroe. He was signed up for 12 hour shifts for the next 4 weeks. He has Tuesdays off. I dont understand why Kohl E-commerce would schedule people 12 hour shifts a day for 4 weeks and then take the hours back. My husband called me 12:20pm yesterday and said there giving VTO for people well he took the vote and came home then last night Sunday kohl called that there was VTO for day shift for Monday today .Well I went ahead and told him to take the VTO because I was really sick last night and didnt want to drive. Well there goes our Christmas I told him if they keep offering VTO he can take 1 day more off a week. He was schedule 6am to 6pm Sun Mon Wed Thurs Fri Sat total 72 hours a week I knew from beginning that wasnt going to happen I knew Kohl wont le all those people have all those overtime. As for thanksgiving he was schedule 12 hours for that day but they dropped it to 8 hours and he still gets double time ,but I knew that wasnt going to happen for a holiday work 12 hours not now days. So this holiday year sucks like all the rest since 2010. It will be just another day to go through.
