Well you knew it was coming... Im usually pretty hard on myself as a musician. Ive gotten by because Im a smart enough businessperson to associate with really talented people. It has gotten Walk of Shame to a plateau of sorts in the Pittsburgh area, so it has forced me to look for opportunities outside of my hometown. Dewey Beach is basically the Top Gun of cover band music in America. It is where the best and most successful entertainers perform. It is also one of the most supportive, friendly, and overall awesome vibes of anywhere that Ive had the good fortune to play. Thank you to The Starboard Restaurant, Jimmys Grille Dewey Beach, and The Rusty Rudder for allowing me the chance to step foot on your legendary stages. Now, from the beginning: Thank you to Bryen for getting the whole ball rolling a year ago by letting me jam with you when you were in my hood. Thanks to Megan and Eric for meeting me there, your relentless support of live music, and your friendship. Thank you to Joe for trusting me enough to give me his stage on one of the biggest weekends of the year. Thank you Amanda for offering me the positive reinforcement that most performers need. Thank you Michele and everyone else in Dewey for your generosity and hospitality. Thank you Rick, Kalai, and Marty for inviting me up to sing with the Dewey Beach Fantastic Four. To the OCMD crew - Thank you to Lisa for always talking me up in town. A huge thanks to Danelle and Michael for the gigs, and for offering me a place to crash on the shore. Thanks to Mandie and the Pittsburgh crew at Buxys SaltyDogSaloon for letting me rep my hometown this Thursday night. Thanks to Greg and the staff at Fagers Island for the gig this Friday. Thanks to the Purple Moose for being the first place to give us a chance to play out here a few years ago. Thanks to Lynn and the Brass Balls Saloon for representing IUP - Where it all started for me. And of course, thanks to Earl, Dan, Cory, Andy, Booch, Ben, Darren, Kenny, Mike, Aaron, Marc, Shawn, Taylor, Eric, and everyone else who has been kind enough to lend their musical talents to WoS since 2008. To all of the service people who have been busting their asses since Thursday - Thank you, and you deserve a couple nights off. Im hanging on the shore this week, and Im flying solo. If anyone wants to take pity on me and hang, Im all about meeting some new people, and Im off tonight and tomorrow. Seriously - Who wants to grab a drink? #LifeDoesNotSuck #BestOfTheBest
