Welllll,gooood morrrniiinnggg Mondayyyyyy yall!!! May you see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living Ever think to yourself, what a miracle the camera is? How far weve come from writings on a wall to the Browning to the iPhone? How physics, optics and electronics have made it possible for something to develop before our very eyes,, immediately! We live in a world that worships the immediate and there is a strong connection between our desire for the immediate and lust! It maybe a bodily appetite or a spiritual possession or a material item, whatever the case may be,,, Lust simply means, I must have this at once, I cannot wait for Gods time! In Psalms 27, David wrote of his waiting on God during a time of great trouble when there was no solution in sight. Instead of giving into despair, he maintained that he would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (v.13). When it seems there is no sign of our deepest longings being fulfilled, the psalmist urges us to cling to the internal God. Father God, help us to be content, to seal our lips to every vein desire, instead to kneel, acknowledging You, and in that place, to wait until we see Your face, in Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen Its a beautiful 72 degrees here in Fort Worth Texas this morning, and Im rollin out, so you all have a blessed day, and Ill catch you on the flipside and remember this, the answer to your craving for the immediate,,, is to focus on the eternal,,,, I love yall!!
