Wellness in the Woods is starting a new program in partnership with some wonderful women who live in Humphrey Manor Wadena. We dont have a name for the project yet.....hint. hint, but these women neeeeeeeed some supplies to make plastic mats for people who are homeless to sleep on. If you have rotary cutters, the mats used to cut on oooooorrrr wait..... wait...... walmart or other plastic bags, WE WANT THEM. I always have tons of them around and we need them. Please let me know and as I travel around the area, we can connect. Will get pix for you to see this amazing work to serve folks who sleep on the ground. YES we have homeless people in our part of Minnesota. We will deliver them to the Salvation Army in Brainerd to begin with, but if you have others areas where you could see the need, PM me and we will make it happen. Thanks to Vernadine Jensen and Joanne Perish for moving forward on this project. Oh and if you have old cell phones with SIM cards we can use them for folks in Haiti Mama to find jobs.
