Welp I almost broke down and cried at my very first observation but guys It feel soo good to finally find my purpose in life. After today I feel like I was born to be a educator. I dont know where this passion comes from. It just happens. But to make a long story short this student up there in the 1st grade class was acting a donkey. They had to call the mom up there. She came up there and whopped him right there at the school. Well the whopping didnt phase him AT ALL. in fact he was worse then he was before we called the mom. The mom breaks down crying. I mean just gut wrenching sobs. Shes saying I dont know what to doooo. Im whopping his ass, taking his things, putting him on punishment I dont know what to dooooo. And guess what the students name was??? It was Justin. Everyone had given up on that boy and my professor told us beforehand your job at an observation is to OBSERVE nothing more. We werent suppose to interact with the kids, but I just couldnt NOT say anything.
