Welp. Started to have the EMG test. Made it to the 3rd reading which felt like I was being electrocuted and made my leg jerk violently. I started bawling and hyperventilating and sat right up. So I think the only information they really got is that Im wimpier than anyone thought. The tech told me I was not the 1st to react like that and would defiantly not be the last. Since my GP referred me for this torture, the doctor in charge of the EMG told me if the neurologist really thinks the test is needed, they would have to medicate me. Id rather be raped by an elephant than go through that again sedated or not. I didnt stop crying until a few minutes after I got home. My leg is still feeling electricity and having electric spasms (different than the muscle spasms Ive been having). Im not sure if some people are more sensitive to electricity or what - Im super tough when it comes to pain, but not shocks, it seems. :/
