: Welp-that was a LONG night. I went to the hospital last night at 8 for a routine non-stress test (I have to go 2x/wk til Mark gets here due to my hereditary high cholesterol)-Anywho, ended up beginning to have contractions almost immediately when I got there-more than 6 in an hour and getting stronger. They hydrated me to make sure that wasnt the issue-it wasnt. They did an ultrasound to check his position and he is in fact-NOT head down and therefore NOT ready to make an entrance-which meant they needed to do what they could to stop the contractions. I was only 1cm dilated and NOT going anywhere from there. After two shots in my upper/back part of my arm that burned quite a bit and were supposed to stop contractions, contractions still hadnt stopped... Fortunately the shot of morphine in my leg did the trick around 2am. They monitored me til 7 and finally released me. Fortunately, hubby was able to take the morning off so I could sleep seeing as Levi would be waking up not too long after I was going to get home. Just getting up and praying this little man turns head down and holds on tight for at least another week!
