Wendy writes: I started to run to support my weight loss but Im not on a horrible plateau and cant seem to get off. This isnt really why Im writing however. My question is this: Im training for the L.A. Marathon and our club has long runs every other week. How am I supposed to or can I properly fuel while trying to get off the plateau and lose something. This isnt my first Marathon and so I know I should have some good answers but Im just dumbstruck as how to proceed. I try to be Glutenless and sugarless on a day to day basis but those are my own restrictions. I do use real sugar hydration drinks on our long runs instead of fake sugars or stevia type of products as those all upset my stomach. Finally: I also suffer from pretty severe runners trots so fiber may be a stumbling block. Thank You for any help.
