Wenger ends all speculation and confirms striker to be at Arsenal Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out selling Joel Campbell this summer. The Costa Rican striker has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the club this summer, with reports suggesting that AC Milan are interested in signing the 22-year-old. But Wenger has ruled out selling Campbell and insisted he wants to keep the striker, who spent last season on loan at Olympiakos. Wenger said: “He’s a member of my squad at the moment, he had a good preparation, he played well against Benfica for example. In training he is very focused and eager to do well and I would like to keep him.” The Arsenal boss thinks that Campbell’s loan spell at Olympiacos has benefitted him immensely, and that he has matured during his time in Greece. He added: “He’s matured a lot. “He came from a non-competitive world into a world with high competition. “He’s adapted slowly but he’s adapted very well. “He has a very good spirit and a very good attitude.”
