Wensday morning I went to the City Web site to view the council meeting from the night before. They have changed their site and removed all the videos that were replays of past meetings. Realizing that many people are unable to attend the meetings and they like to see what is going on at these meetings, they count on the city web site to get this information. I E-Mailed the council members about the problem. I got an answer from our temp.mayor. She said that it must have been a mistake and she would fix things and get back the videos. That was two days ago and nothing has been done or fixed. Another way the city takes care of the taxpayers who pay their salaries. As I have said before we need change in the powers that run us. One down and next year we can replace two more. Think about it. Just what type of people do you want speaking for you. I for one feel the videos need to be brought back for the public to see. I do go to some meeting,but if I want to know what really happens at those meetings I need to either record on my VCR or go to the city web site. As you know people have been complaining about the sound at city hall and there are many problems with chann. 26.nothing has been done to fix either of them yet. Lets put the pressure on the citys powers to fix things up.
