Went down to walk on the track at Widmyer and as I got there saw Makenah pitching an hitting softballs. It is where she can be found many days every week. She just played in games all week-end in Wheeling, represents her school this week at a WVU leadership conference and plays in New York next week end. She is relentless in the pursuit of the sport that she loves. She is a coaches dream when it comes to work ethic. She is a great young lady and a very deserving one but Im just her grandma and I feel that all my grandchildren are thorobreds. Love all of them, each and every one, and I will be supporting them all on the football field, in the basketball gym, the softball field and in life!!
