Went for Roshan Anandappas wedding to Roshanie.. and the wedding was a ball. Christine his mum and Ranjan had done good for the guests,, from milk wine to toast the bride and groom to to good scotch to a super lunch at the old Jaela Guest house which is now renovated. The mass was at St Sebastians church Kandana which was under repair and it was really nice meeting the Tissera leg of the family. Limited invites because it was a small and simple affair which is still quite expensive and most of the family like ours, overseas. The names of the people are to be advised when Rochelle who is Roshans sister, joins us on this page. My mum and Christine Anandappa,s mum were two sisters.. Then Christines brother was the late Brian who is a Tissera. The name of Brito- Savundranaya.. being associated with the Tamils when we are Colombo Chetty and during the time of the civil riots in Colombo, our being caught in the dispute between the other two races, so they changed their names to the grandfathers name. We had to get a court decree to get our community listed as a separate ethnicity. In the wedding were Jean Tissera and her daughters and their children, two of whom were the flower girl and the page boy. These all will be in the comments line.
