Went in today to check on one of my applications. That location isnt hiring but I have a list of other locations that might so Ill get up early again and stop in at the next one. I have to admit Ive been a little overwhelmed lately..it never fails, whenever I get caught up in me(I mean the problems I have today some people pray to have) God reminds me that I have a new employer, one who will always provide, one who never fails, one whos plans for me are so much bigger and better than mine. Got to sit down with a kid whos hurting, whos struggling, whos at the same place I was almost 6 years ago, who just needed to hear from someone like him that God loves him, that he is redeemable, that there is hope, that there is a way out. My heart broke for him. But, at the same time my faith in God was renewed and strengthened and suddenly it wasnt about me. It was about taking the time to help someone, to share the love and grace of an awesome God and to hear me tell my own testimony so that I could remember just how much God has done and will do. I hope I never get to busy or caught up in my own life that I miss the opportunity to help someone. God always knows what I need. Feeling centered tonight.
