Went on youtube and was surfing music and led me to songs I havent heard in a while, found songs that brought me back and made me think about things that happened years ago and how lucky my life is and I must have strong guardian angels! Wendell Burns and I lived together for a few years and it wasnt a good mix lol, little to much party (although I never missed a day of work!). A bunch of us were drinking and behind our apt. was an alley, a buddy brought out his souped up Kawasaki drag bike and we start having a burn out contest. I took my turn and was whipping it back and forth and about 50mph still fish tailing I see the line pole the bike is drifting towards and all I could do was lean, I was so close with my head to the pole I heard a loud pop! That was the air between my head and the pole, I missed dying by a fraction of an inch but ignored it. Years later Im driving my dads van (family in Texas know the van from our visits to Grandmas house but later the vans seats were removed and it went to work in my dads co.) I drove the van to the city of Industry to pick up 100 cases of Dole Pineapple Juice. On the way back I have the stereo blasting going 70 mph when all of a sudden a Peterbuilt tractor for no reason hits his brakes and snaps in front of me. No time to even hit my brakes I broadside this semi truck pop his fuel tank and slide across 4 lanes of traffic hit the concrete divider. I remember warm liquid coming down the side of my head and a voice saying he is alive! I remember looking to my right and seeing a car battery swinging back and forth by 1 cable then looking up at the cop thinking what! I was buried in cases of pineapple juice that pushed me and my seat through the windshield. It was pineapple juice running down my neck. Billy Graham was preaching at the Anaheim Stadium and I went to see him 3 times that week! A man sang a song one of those nights at the Billy Graham Crusade that I will never forget.
