Went out and checked the chickens last night and all were on the roost. Went out this morning and one of the hens was dead on the ground right under her roost, its like she just died and fell off the roost. There was no damage to her, she was just dead. I think she died of old age. She was 7 or 8 years old, so she had a good long life and laid lots of eggs during that time. We gave her a proper burial under a tree.
