Went out to Hotrod Shop to work tonight....Heart was Not in it.....I was Tracing down a Wiring issue in My T-Buckets Dash When Nick Tesla Came to Mind......I stopped working on the car and Started working on a 1 Million Volt DC Power supply that I have been putting off working on.... I quickly found the bad componets in the supply and Fixed them..... I Hooked it up to 220 volts in the breaker panel, set the titanium Spark Gap contacts and threw the switch on....... It threw the most beautiful Lightning Bolt across the contact, then SWEET JESUS, it threw another one (Unexpected) clear across the shop to the garage door tracks, By This Time , The Entire Shop Looks like Dr. Frankensteins Laboratory, And I am On the Concrete floor thinking I Have to Kill the power on this thing.....I stood up and made a dash for the breaker panel, and tried to trip the 220 main Breaker.....But as If it Had a Mind of its own....Mr. Teslas Monster Struck at me again.... This Time BINGO I took a 1 Million Volt Hit....Now 30 Milliamps is Not Likely to Kill You, But it Hits You Like a Pissed Off Mule on Crack......Somehow the Bolt of Lightning that Ripped across my Body seemed to cause unused brains cells to kick in, Rather than risk another HIT that may cause me to Wet Myself, I dove out the door to the safety of the outside.......Now You May think a Man with a Extremely High IQ would have walked to the power pole and tripped the main out there.....Instead I Got a bit upset I had Failed to remember to Hook up the Case Ground on the power supply before turning it on.....SO---- I decided This was WAR.....I stood in the doorway counting the Cycles R/C Time constant Calculating My Moment to Go For It..... I Made My Move ...Just as I touched the main breaker ....Whack.....Got ya again... But to late for the third strike To Load up in the Monster Capacitors..... Power was Off and I was Laying on the concrete floor in the Dark... Rolling around in PURE PAIN, Talking one on One with JESUS....The Beast was Dead.......So Here I sit rubbing My Arms and Neck and Trying to Laugh at Myself..... The Lesson from this.......Think Twice, act once......You Only Get So Many Chances in Life to Live and Love........Never Blow a Chance at Real Love......Stupidity .....HURTS LIKE HELL.....I SEE DEAD PEOPLE...... TESLA LIVES........old dan
