Went out to my garage this morning and saw a HUGE black spider sitting on my car, waiting for me. I have several options, none of them good. I can put my big girl panties on and try to beat it to death with a snow shovel. This puts me way too close to it so not a true option. I can wake Linda up and remind her how much she loves me and that means she has all spider responsibility for the household. She may be less than pleased with me. I can call the police. While they would arrive fully armed and prepared to tackle spider problems, they may not appreciate the seriousness of the situation. Convincing them to employ deadly force might not work. Or I can ignore it and hope it crawls of to the depths of hell all spiders belong in...
