Went to CIB bank this morning to pick up checkbooks that I had ordered on line. I only found one checkbook with 12 checks in it and was told that this is all I was allowed to have because I bounced one check back in April. The bounced check was covered the next day but I was a bad girl and they must punish me for bouncing one check in 18 years.... but another reason (to be fair) was that they withdrew 40LE fees and it fell below the lit so I definitely cannot be trusted with more than 12 checks...... CIB is clearly clueless and has no idea what retail banking is about. Unless someone can point to the logic behind this, I am forced to close my accounts as they are officially the worst bank ever. I have suspected this for a while now and already have accounts elsewhere...... I ripped up the puny checkbook they gave me and left.
