Went to #KhyberVillage for lunch with Hamza M. Ali after seeing the post yesterday at other Food Forum. Its near to Nawaz Sharif interchange on Ring Road. We ordered loads of food. It was half dozen each of Afghani Kabab and Afghani Tikka, 2 chappali kababs, Afghani Pulao and Kandhari Naan. I must say it is the most authentic Afghani I have ever had in #Lahore. I have had Afghani cuisine from all over northern part of Pakistan and yes, this restaurant meet our expectations. Awesome in taste and so smell in meat like it is. Ended up with Peshawari Kehwah and it was too what I have had with tribals. I must say that its a commendable job by the owner and his team. Ambience of the restaurant also matches to that of Afghani but ofcourse with some Lahori touch. The best of thing was the Pakhtoon Hospitality I could feel after being served by a Pakhtoon waiter. We couldnt get Rosh though but its obvious because Lahoris (though I am one too) dont understand the dish. But we were told that we can pre-order Rosh if we have a party. If you love authentic Afghani cuisine, hit this asap. 200% recommended. And wish it stays the same.
