Went to Power Plant Restaurant tonight and arrived at 6:00 p.m. to a full and overflowing house. We were meeting another couple from out of town who had arrived a few minutes earlier and been told the wait was at least one hour. It was so noisy, we could hardly hear one another and decided to go elsewhere. We noticed several others leaving without getting seated. Once back in the parking lot one couple told us it was good that we didnt wait saying that the ladies food was so bad they sent it back and that the mans chicken fried steak was so cold it was also sent back. We went to the Guadalupe Grillhouse where we were promptly seated. Service was good and the burgers were too. A suggestion to them, and I know its been made before, would be that they add some grilled chicken and fish dishes to their menu. You can get a grilled chicken breast if you ask for it, but a couple of varieties would be nice.
