Went to Rileys Pediatrician today. She decided to make her an appointment for her GI next Wednesday to see if we can do something about her reflux. She was not given a fundo when they placed her G-Button but now Dr. Rodriguez thinks she may need this surgery if things dont get better. She raised her reflux medication from 0.6 ml to a full 1 ml to help with the pain. Other than that shes gaining ok. Prayers r needed that the pain goes away with her raised medicine. We really dont want her to have another surgery but we cant not get the surgery if she is in pain every time she spits up. She will keep associating pain with food and will refuse it even as a toddler. Prayers r much needed that we can can solve this before 6 months when we start to introduce babyfood. UNTILL then Ocupational therapy and speech r working hard with her aversion to eating.
