Went to Rite-Aid after their Pennsylvania robot lady kept calling me to pick up a prescription. Upon entering, after passing an outrageously happy and smiling young lady trying to get people to sign something, I saw a Coke display with something about getting a personalized bottle. Curious, I went over to the large container and found one that said Share a Coke with John . . . so how could I pass that up? The only one there and on sale too. Then I found two more water pistols on sale and passed the Foster-Grant sunglasses display where you get the second one for half off if you buy two. So now people can legitimately refer to me as Surfer Dude as both fit the description. Finally made it to the prescription pick up counter and after talking about the Coke, water pistols, sunglasses,the concert with the German tour group and if the cashier had any luck in tracing her German lineage, we both forgot my prescription. Robot lady will call me again so Ill go back tomorrow. Leaving the store I encountered the very pretty young lady again, with the clipboard, still laughing and smiling by herself. Youre a really, happy person! I said as I passed. If I stopped Im sure she would have had me sign something. Then picked up some vitamins. One of the rose bushes by the parking ramp is exquisite and ignored by everyone. Always take time to smell the roses you know. Now I have a list of all the TV shows this evening, even those I missed last Sunday - from 6:00 this evening to 2:00 in the morning. Im good. :-)
