Went to Sears today. I had a coupon for a percentage off.....picked up 2 pair of little kids sneakers. I go out to the car Becky looks at them and tries to get the lights to work. One pair did not work.....I just grabbed two boxes without even thinking to try them. Well that is typical cause as I have written many I always have an issue where ever I go. I went right back in to exchange the one pair for an identical pair that work. AHA! Not so easy. The girl tried three times to exchange them. She tells me I owe more money....I say how can I owe more money I just left the store 2 minutes ago! She then says she will do a return on the pair.....she gave me the money back so I could now buy the good pair. I told her she didnt give me the amount I paid for the shoes and I am not paying more. Manager gets called to figure out the mess. Mean time a line forms behind me....I turned and said out loud sorry for the hold up folks I am just trying to exchange a pair of shoes.Finally they did a price adjust and I was on my merry way. When I get to the car Becky says...mom cant you go to any store without something going wrong?? Obviously no I cant!
