Went to a card store near Pittsburgh called Legions cards and games to try and sell some of my cards. Below is a picture of what all I tried selling to them (sires are foil, rakdos return foil, drum foil 2 foil connections, foil Nykthos). When he finished looking through the stack, I asked him how much I could get for cash and how much store credit. Now I understand that stores need to make a profit and Im not going to receive near full price for the cards (at most 60% per card or so). When he told me the amount I would receive, it felt like I had just been beaten over the head with a baseball bat and bent over. He told me he would give me $235 store credit or $125 cash. The mutavaults alone are worth that and if you add in the 3 misty rainforests, its over $400 in value. That offer was a complete insult and way under a reasonable offer. So I asked him what I could get for everything besides the vaults, fetches and foil domri. He looks through the pile again and says $25 cash. Seriously?! I will never return to that store again and was reluctant to even go today due to past experiences with how the tournaments are run and managed. I suggest that no one goes to that store for your own good
