Went to a college game tonight with my daughter. Came away feeling robbed from the great experience basektball use to offer. i know am singing the same song again but I watch 4-5 possessions in a row where the defender played great positional defense but because contact was initiated by the offensive player a foul was called on the defense. I literally thought one of the coaches was going to have a heart attack due to the frustration. There is zero pace to the game any more because of this silly change in how the game is going to be called. I know they say the players must adjust but what will happen is teams that like to play hard man to man will be forced to play a soft zone just to keep their players on the court.
