Went to an ENT Dr today (whoa just realized she, my PC, OBGYN, Dentist, Derm & Therapist are all Black women #dope) Reason: persistent allergy like symptoms, mucus, shortness of breath, coughing-perhaps related to Hashimotos. Each time I seek care Im given the opportunity to make a healthful lifestyle change. I was diagnosed with silent reflux Treatment: no late night eating & reduce my caffeine (changes Ive been meaning to make). Eating late is difficult-not just because of work schedule-but its emotional/lonely mindless chewing. So I have a choice right? Adjust & keep moving towards my optimum grow-nass woman health or not change and manage life-limiting symptoms forever. Today begins a 6 week transition to major meal being midday & nothing after 9.Today I choose health, change & transformation. #MADMonday
