Went to get in the shower this morning and peaked through the window like I normally do to spy on my birds. And thats when I hear them, and by them I dont mean the macaws. I look straight ahead and two hawks were screeching to each other circling my road low. Probably as low as the power lines. I was naked and swiped the towel from the hanger and ran outside in my towel scooping them up and putting them in the aviary. They were already gone and seemed to be uninterested in the macaws but I know the seasons are changing and the hawks will be getting worse the closer we get to winter. So they will be caged while I am away now for the season. Poor guys they are all confused lol mango and tango are in the big cage bcuz my dogs were locked up in their aviary since weve put poison out for rats and theyve been dying around the house. Didnt want them to eat one.
