Went to give some my O-neg blood to Mississippi Blood Services this morning, and once again, my iron levels were too low to qualify (12.1 in my right middle finger and 11.4 in my left middle finger). I have had every possible test and cameras and x-rays from mouth to asshole, and Im fine--no internal bleeding. I eat lots of red meat and leafy green veggies like spinach. After all that money and time for tests and procedures, the gastrologists opinion is, Sometimes fat guys are anemic. So, thats that!
