Went to meet my new homeless friend Paul over the park this evening after he rang and asked if I was free for a chat. We had a nice catch up over some pub grub and I told him about the homeless charity that are coming to assess him tonight or tomorrow in the park. He told me that before yesterday he was thinking of ending his life, that he had nothing to live for. He also told me how he slept like a baby in the hotel last night and had 3 baths and 7 cups of coffee :) He even tried to buy me a coffee with the few coins he has to his name and pick me flowers to say thank you. He may not have anything to call his own, but he has a heart of gold and a lot to offer the world. I have sorted him out a few little bits to keep his morale up but if anyone has anything they would like to donate I am sure he would be very grateful! He could really do with an old mobile (I have a sim), a sleeping bag, maybe some clothes and toiletries, and most of all some friendly people. Im popping over tomorrow evening, any friendly faces and donations welcome :)
