Went to my family dr. About month ago. No testing ect . Did get my flue shot but my insurance covered that. Wrote a check that day for 69.00 which I assumed was the charge for visit. My insur. doesnt cover office visits. Got a bill in the mail yesterday for 95.00 . Called office to find out what that charge was for. She told me I was the balance of my office visit. It now costs me 164.00 office visit. I about pooped my pants. She told me because they are parts of McLaren hospital corp. McLaren sets the charges. Guess I will be looking for a new family dr who is not a part of McLaren hospital Corp. sad I loved my dr.
