Went to see Ashley today, and while I had prepared in my head seeing her for the first time, my heart wasnt prepared. Our sweet Ashley has come so far, and by Gods grace she will continue to heal. To see her try to say I love you back to us was awesome. Today was a day for many feelings from her. She was restless, and tearful at times. My heart hurts for her and her family. Ashley reached for Donnie, and she did her best to hug him. It was a sight I will never forget. As I was leaving, I ask her to squeeze my hand and she did, 3 times in fact, then she raised her precious hand and waved bye to me as tears fell. I love her so much. Tonight when you pray for Ashley, Can I ask for you to go to the face of God, and pray for her momma Sharon. Pray for comfort and strength for Sharon. I saw first hand today how strong she is for Ashley, but outside the door, I also saw a momma crying for her baby. I love you Ashley, Sharon, John and Jenna. May God continue to Bless you all. Rest well Ashley, and see you soon.
