Went to take water to the chickens, saw that the light bulb that keeps the water from freezing has blown out. Got two eggs. On the way back to the garage, I noticed that the outdoor thermometer was on the ground, so went to the tree and tied it back up. Then I noticed the sump pump was on, and saw that the water it was pumping out was going right back into the cellar. I tried to pull the hose out past where it has holes, but had to go to the cellar and try to get some slack to send outside. That didnt work so well, so I took the top and bottom off of a water bottle and wrapped that around it. Dont know if it worked or not, need new hose where the mice or squirrels have chewed it. After that, it was raining, but I decided since I had my rubber boots on, I would go see the garden again. I had to get some of the dead grass off the crocus, then some dead daylily debris here and there, you just cant see it and not do something about it. There were some daylily plants that were above the ground so I had to get some dirt/mud around them of course. So I have dirt under my nails, my hair is wet and bedraggled, but I feel wonderful! I was never so happy to do a sink full of dishes in nice hot water! Time for lunch, Id say. Doing some healing at 5, then tanning, then who knows? Darryl is going to an airplane club meeting, so if I feel up to it, I may go to Dr. Frans meditation tonight. Have a wonderful day, everyone!
