Went to the Chupacabra aka Tapacubo eatery last night for taco night. They had $1 beers until 9 p.m. Saw some neighbs! Unfortunately, they ran out of vegetarian and fish tacos by my arrival at 8 p.m. so I have no idea what the special taco prices would have been. Typical that places run out of veg options because a lot of people dont think about the fact that even meat eaters like to do non-meat for health reasons. Favorite quote of 2015: Cattle is an outdated technology. I had the shroom arepa. Save your $8. Our server was great (I think her name was Virginia and shes the best!) but we had several hickups at the bar. The super loud eighties soft rock kinda didnt do it for me. Hoping theyre just still working out the bed bugs. Havent been to that hotel in about 20 years and its still gives me a cold feeling. Just my two-cent restaurant review for what its worth.
