Went to the NYC Premiere of St. Vincent last night. A really good sweet movie that I swear will make anyone tear up at the end. Very proud to be a part of it, to have helped first time director and great guy Ted Melfi bring such a personal story to life, and most importantly, as always, to get to work with my friend, and an incredible DP, John Lindley. To say that John is an artist is an understatement and I think the beauty of this movie is in large part due to him (visually and otherwise). The faith he puts in me/the free reign he gives me on set is really on par with none and I cant thank him enough for that. If I could only work with him from here on out, Id be fine with that (assuming hes working, so everyone else feel free to call). Check it out. A really good time.
