Went to the Social Security office this morning. After 40 years the SS reverted my name back to my maiden name. I wanted to have this corrected so when my checks start coming I can cash them!! Many interesting people at SS office. The woman sitting next to me was there to establish Power of Attorney for her fiancé. He had been approved for SS Disability, but you have only 60 days to come in to sign the paper work. He is currently in jail, so unable to come and sign the papers for his government assistance. This was her 3rd trip, maybe this one is charm!!
