Went to the Thai Festival last night (basically the Thai version of a carnival). Food, games, and genuine Thai rock bands playing Thai rock music, haha. The style was somewhere between Journey and 80s hair metal, but it was still pretty entertaining. And I ate a cockroach. A giant, fried cockroach they were selling at a fried insect stand. My buddy Jacob bet me 100 baht to do it. This thing must have been 4 inches long with feet, wings and eyes still intact. Definitely the nastiest thing Ive ever eaten. It was like a salty mouthful of crunchy shrimp tails. Luckily, the rest the food there was awesome.
