Went to the Upper Tees today as I havent been for a very long time. The winter sun made everything golden apart from that brown water and there wasnt a cloud in the sky. Felt so at home and safe even though I was on my own, a few guys were at dogleg who I had a quick chat with but I left them to it after a few laps so I could go and lap low force. 2 years ago give or take a few days I made the same river trip on my own, how things have changed since then. Ive lost a friend, got a new home, I have someone who I want to share my life with, Ive got a degree, I have some new friendship groups and I think Ive had to grow up ( a little bit ) and its happened in that order I think too. The last 2 years have made a big difference to my life and who I am. This day will always stick in my head as there a some happy memories and I thinks it marks a milestone. Good memories!
