Went to the time capsule today with Lynn and the kids, I was surprised to find a disposable unsheathed razor which Rebecca crawled over. Luckily she missed it as did Eva as she past first. Immediately took it out of the water and had to shout to the life guard a few times to get his attention, when I did he didnt seem too bothered! So here is my email which I have sent to them regarding the matter. Not happy is an understatement. I would like to draw your attention to the fact I found a mens disposable razor unsheathed in the main water park at the shallow end of the pool. I discovered this as my 8yr old daughter was crawling along to get out of the pool she crawled over it and luckily she never cut herself on it!! I immediately took it out of the water, I tried to get the attention of the young life guard standing near the kids water slide, I had to shout at him to get his attention I when I presented the razor to him he didnt seen that concerned. Not even a so much as a thanks. I would like to know what measures you have in place which should have stopped this from happening, and if not what measure you will put in place to ensure this never happens again. The lack of concern from the life guard worries me as I think he should have reported that right away. I am deeply annoyed at this reaction to such a potential hazard in your pool. Had any if my two daughters or any other child had been injured, I would be reporting you to the local health and safety authority for such a breech on safety checks within your pool complex.
