Went up to the PJ Logan cup in Coalisland earlier, myself and Ryan Mallon the sole Dromara reps. A3 race was 7 laps of a 6.6 mile figure of eight lap; filled with plenty of corners and short sharp climbs to test the legs. Racing was aggressive all day and with muck and slurry on the roads making it sketchy on some corners. I was feeling good all day and with 2k to go there was a 90 degree turn straight onto a climb that was similar to some sections of Dree Hill in steepness, 1k to go a gap opened and the bunch was dropping like flies. I saw a chance and chased the leading group, getting within 3 bike lengths of the group before the winner cross the line, I outsprinted a small group to come in the top 15 as far as I know. Well chuffed with the result!! Not too sure how ryan finished, he was away home before I finished.
