Went with friends to the Chicken Shack for an early evening dinner and, while none of us raved about the food, it wasnt a bad experience overall. The atmosphere is lively; big screen tvs on all sides and a little arcade/play area for kids - a little noisy but its a fun atmosphere all in all. The service was friendly although, our waitress was a bit hyper-focused on removing any used paper from our table, first hovering until we handed over the paper wrappers from our straws and then returning twice to collect our used napkins while we were still eating - seemed a bit much but didnt harm anything. We each ordered something different to try a few of the menu items; I ordered the fried chicken salad with bacon added (honey mustard dressing), another ordered the honey bbq wings and an order of garlic fries, the last in our party ordered the chicken fingers with garlic fries. My salad was fresh and the chicken was good; I wasnt wow-ed by it but if I happened to be there I wouldnt mind ordering it again. The verdict on the honey wings (which I tried as well) was a so-so and both of us agreed that by comparison Wingers chicken wings are better - these were quite spicy too! The chicken fingers were said to be good, again not amazing or anything, but not bad. A split on the garlic fries - one person loved them, the other didnt care for them. Prices were fair and I would go back if someone else wanted to try it out but it definitely didnt go onto my favorite restaurants in Klamath list.
