Purpose of Role Reporting to the Practice Area Leader, the BD specialist will support GCC Consulting’s Business Development efforts and initiatives by providing recommendations & a roadmap on potential business and growth opportunities in the GCC from well conducted research reports and market trend analysis. The primary responsibility of this role is to gather and analyse data, write research reports and recommend potential business & growth opportunities. In particular the responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Supporting the strategic approach to business development through the conduct of research and literature reviews on issues, market trends, countries, clients, partners and competitors; Drafting proposals, tenders, market research and documentation in English and Arabic through the bidding process; Building and maintaining a network of contacts specifically within the local Ministries and government offices within the GCC; Translating and interpreting documents from English into Arabic and Arabic into English; Writing Company Capability Statements and other marketing literature in both Arabic and English; Maintaining GCC GRM registrations up to date and monitoring websites and registrations for advertisements for all tender opportunities; Supporting the development of new, and maintenance of, existing GCC client relationships through interactions with clients during the business development cycle; Participating in and contributing to client meetings through providing insight on processes and procedures from a local GCC perspective; Performing relevant admin tasks such as processing of invoices, updating corporate databases (e.g.: SharePoint, NEMO). Minimum education and experience required Bi-lingual: English and Arabic both written and verbal; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant work experience from a similar industry (Agricultural, Health, & Education Sectors; General Management Consultancy) with intensive research work experience Emirati Nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
